Black phenolic & Walnut...
« on: February 04, 2011, 08:06:00 PM »
Has anyone mixed the two in a riser? Does anyone have any pics? Seems like it would be a striking pair...

Not on a riser, but used it on tips with walnut limbs. No pic of that. I like the orange phenolic with the walnut better though. I do have a pick of that.

Nice Jerry. Thanks very much. I've seen other pics of your walnut bows and love the looks of them. Their clean, crisp, simplistic looks are stunning.

I'm building one right now with beautiful walnut That the customer cut and supplied.
It has a g10 grade black phenolic  beam with 2 1/8 red phenolic stripes one each side of the black. Looks really great. I will get some pics fairly quick and post them up. God bless you, Steve

Hey Gobble,
I see you have two threads about walnut risers running simultaneously.

It would be more beneficial and interesting to try to keep everything together in one thread.

It would also help with the recent efforts to keep the Pow Wow from becoming cluttered and redundant.

Both questions are good ones tho...hope you find what you need.
