Congrats.
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

Congrates on your robin hood especially with carbons. Aluminums are a little easier.

Congrats.  I have a buddy who shoots pink fletching.  I hate following him in three d shoots because no matter where he hits on long targets.  My "eye" picks his damn pink arrow to stack in with.  We always have a good laugh.  I guess I subconsciencously like pink.  :)  Let the razzing begin.

I'm stoked at your excitement!

Good on you buddy!

Now you can switch to shooting separated dots with each arrow since you now know it's possible to ruin an arrow shooting at the same dot...lol

God bless,Mudd

Congrats, closest I got was break off nocks and scratch shafts.
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

A robin hood is a cool thing. I've left all mine together that I can remember. 2 with a compound at 30 yards, and my favorite,  12 yard shot with recurve that broke the nock off and entered the swage such that it flared the swage into 4 equal parts.

Here's to a few more robin hoods for you!

Put it up on the wall. the first one is a really cool thing. You start doing it very often and all it does is tick you off. I have two on the wall in ,my garage. Now when it happens I just pull them apart, salvage all the parts I can from the front one and throw the rest of it away, and put the back one back in my quiver (after checking for cracks that is).

Congrats on your RobinHood!!!

Congrats!  Did it carbon on carbon with a compound and wish I had kept it.  It went over half way through the other arrow and just bulged out around it it was so clean and left the penetrating arrow unbroken.  It really shouldn't be that tough with a compound if you are shooting the same spot with well tuned equipment at fairly close distances. Traditional for me would be quite a different story, but totally accidental at this point.  I enjoyed having a pretty bad miss the other day and then picking the same original spot and stacking the arrows, both about 6" from the spot.
