I have a 55lb recurve
62inches long center shot
I draw 29 inches
using a 125-150gr tip
looking at buying 2018 xx-75 for this bow .I like um a little heavy__(arrows that is).

2018's shot well out of my 55# recurve with 125's.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

With bows cut to center, you can get by with a little lighter or heavier spine. I would say your on the light side. If your shooting 125 grn you will probably alright. You could step up to 2117's or 2020 and be even better, and use a heavier head. Just my 2 cents! Jason

If it's shooting good suit yourself. You can load alums for extra weight & momentum for more penetration. Double XX's are versatile good choice.

My guess is you will cut your arrows around 30".
You will be close to the limit on spine at that length, but if you keep your point weight around that 125gr figure it will probably work.

Bare shaft test tells the story.............Good luck.
