string tracker????

im getting all set up to go after spring turkey and after hearing stuff about the string tracker i thought i might try one. is there a sponser that carries them? ive found others on the web but wasd trying to get one from a sponser. also will the string effect th flight of my arrow at all?

i don't know of any sponsors that sell the string tracker.  Send Guru a pm and he can answer most if not all of your questions about string trackers. Hope this helps.

They used to sell them everywhere and you could buy the replacement string, they were only good for two or three shots and you needed to replace the spools. I have used them and will help locate a hit turkey, just follow the string. Make sure your string is clear before you shoot. They used to sell metal attachments you could put on your arrows by putting them on the end of your arrow and screwing your broadhead tight. Then you could just tie you string to it.

I mounted mine in the stabilizer hole and didn't see any difference in my shot out to 20 yds after that it will drop. I think mine dropped about 8" at 25 yds. I think you get 2 to 3 practice shots with the spool and then you are not suppose to shoot it anymore until you shoot at an animal. Good luck.

thanks bluegrassbowhunter. i see they only sell the 17lb string. i heard that stuff is basically useless cause it breacks so easy. does anyone know where i can get the 30lb string?
