Received a beautiful creation from Steve Gorr today. A 56" Brush Hawk longbow.
I'm packing to go to Pig Gig tomorrow but I did take the time to put a nock set on it. Thought I would shoot it a few times and resume packing. Boy oh boy, was I wrong. I couldn't put it down. Because of shoulder trouble I have to shoot a fairly low weight. This beauty is 45# @ 27". Without a doubt the smoothest drawing bow I have ever shot. No handshock and very quiet. I didn't have time to really set it up correctly but it was spitting my heavy hunting arrows.
No time for pictures today but maybe I can get one this next week with a pig in the same picture.
Definitely post some when I get back, with or without a pig.
