I thinking this might be old enough for him to have made it.

Wish I could help partner. IMO Byron is the best alive. He's got a plate full so sold out to Bear I believe. His personal makes were high dollar. Shoot me an e-mail.

I don't think he has made bows personally for a long time.  Sounds like staitera knows alot more about them.

That's definitely one of the bows Byron made himself.  He made 7 or 8 for me in the early to mid-1990s but none are the "Hunter" model.  Mine are all Safari and Patriot models, which Bear Archery began making.

Call his son Zach at 12567735089 or email at [email protected]

I shoot the Z58 ,64"-63#@27". Fast,quiet,and no shock.
As for cost check with Zach. It might have changed since I got mine.

That looks like a Byron bow.  I bought one from him early 2000, I think it was one of his last. IMHO the Bear version is a completely different bow, and it has black glass. Zack is making bows now. I have 4 Byron bows, 2 of which are his personal bows (1 patriot and 1 royal safari)  The one he made custom for me is a Patriot, and I have another Patriot I got off a buddy.  Never shot the hunter model.
