Just like Christmas, only better!
« on: February 11, 2011, 12:29:00 AM »
Not nly am I now on a first name basis with my UPS driver and postal carrier, tehy've been to my house so many times this week they know what cabinet the coffee cups are in !

I bit the bullet, and ordered a ton of new gear when I had the means and opportunity to do it.

The Mother Load box arrived yesterday- you shoulds seen the color drain out of my wifes face when I opened it up!

3pr Sitka Ascent pants, 1 pr Mountain pants, 4 Core-Zip T's, Vest, jacket, gloves, beanie hats, merino wool base layers, Snw peak stove, Kifaru small woodstove,Kifaru AG2 backpack  The beauty of it , was its all like brand new, some still with tags on, for less thanhalf the going price. Santa never treated me so good!

After the color started to return to the wifes face, she dared to ask-how much?dont sweat it,  got it all n sale! LOL.

I know its still several months away, but Im gettin some serious elk fever!
...stood alone on a montaintop, starin out at a great divide, I could go east, I could go West, it was all up to me to decide, just then I saw a young hawk flyin and my soul began to rise......

Looks like you are almost ready.... LOL
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
