TradGang Inspired Bow Traffic
« on: February 11, 2011, 12:20:00 PM »
I've been busy moving bows around the past month or so! Thanks to many of the lefties here.

-Traded Predator CC for Checkmate
-Sold my only Longbow (Heritage)
-Sold Bear Victor Patriot
-Traded Fox High Sierra for Tall Tines
-Tall Tines for Cash to buy MAGS
-Bought A Mag and 2, B Mags,
-Traded Blacktail Elite VL for Silvertip (the loaner is now mine)
-Traded B Handle Supreme for Green Stripe and Rose Oak limbs(beautiful)
-Bought Test Drive Widow PAX (cocobolo)
-Sold Green Stripe
-Bought new Green Stripe (I know, makes me dizzy)
-Traded Checkmate for Chastain Wapiti

Of all these bows moving through my hands I'd have to say the Chastain Wapiti is the most interesting. I'm very impressed with the grip and the lines of this bow. It also shoots different in terms of point of aim than any bow I have and I don't know why. It is EXTREMELY QUIET. I think this one is going to Big Jim's dipping tank which bodes well for its chances of going to the woods next fall!

A bonus to the bow traffic is that I've gotten to know some very fine folks!

I have no intention of continuing this amount of trading, buying and selling. I have 3 I've been waiting on a very long time due soon. I don't own a bow I don't like...a lot!

Roy,

I was glad to be one of your trade partners, becuase you introduced me to the wonderful world of Predator bows.

I called Mike & Ron and ordered a new custom one to my specs... 60" 52@28", which should be here soon.

You bet Buckster -- in fact you got me started down this road with my first Trad Gang deal! It was such a slick, no stress trade now everyone I deal has to measure up to the standard you set!

Great looking green stripe riser.....
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Jerry,
I really like the Wapiti!  In my opinion this is the most under-rated, least talked about bow I've ever laid my hands on!  Cool lines, fantastic grip, super QUIET, and nice balance.
Of course I've only had it since Thursday but I'm having fun shooting my turkey head targets with it! The picture below is 13 yards.  This bow will be dipped in Predator Camo within a month.

By the way, Billy Shipp, who some of you know, especially the lefties, should be a "rep" for several of the bowyers!  This guy can evaluate and sell a bow!
