I'd be interested into the Colorado hunt. I was going to go solo myself. so if you guys get together let me know. I'm going for muley this year too, which is draw only everywhere,  so if if you go OTC Elk lets get together and figure out which unit because I want to hunt both in the same area. Deadline is April 5th I believe.

Sounds like I'd be the youngster at 41.  :goldtooth:

If you guys put something together, I would be interested. Although I am 54, I am in good shape. I just don't know anything about Elk hunting. I have killed my share of Whitetail.

It would be great is we could put an "Old Timer" hunt together!

I've hunted enough elk to know PARTNERS are key.
I think its great you guys are hooking up.  Some reasons for not hunting alone.
1) safety
2) calling tandem with a shooter will raise your odds ten fold in my experience.  (I called for years alone and mostly got frontal 40 yard encounters...  Now those elk are shot by my partner  :)  )
3) If you do drop a beast...  you'll welcome the help getting it out.
Good hunting... My two cents.

I'm a 100% with Montanawidower. We'll have to see if some wonderful internet relationships bloom.   :jumper:

But in all seriousness, good hunting partners CAN and DO make for a great hunt.

Now get to talkin' and let's have some fun!

Don,
I just recently moved to Wyoming from Kentucky. Been elk hunting for several years. Would enjoy hunting with a former "neighbor". Hit me up if you're interested.By the way I'm a life member of WVBA.
