Sometimes you just get picked
« on: February 11, 2011, 11:12:00 PM »
We have a real life "Robin Hood" in our family.

This man is a deadly killer with his longbows whether it's his Hill or his "Hawk".

For that reason I decided to put together a special hat for him.

Here's a couple of pictures of your hat RC.

I'll get it out to you as soon as possible.

Wear it in good health and great hunting.

God bless,Mudd

That hat conceals well - at first I thought you were talking about the Jesus hat!  Good work!

Leather no less.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I laced up a couple more today and will hopefully get one sewn together tonight.

This one is a heavier leather and thus somewhat rigid.

This one is made of suede leather making it a little lighter and much more flexible.

I'm trying to get some laid back for the St Judes auction.

God bless,Mudd

PS: Thanks folks for the compliments and kind words.

Sixby "...You might get some real strange looks wearing one LOL."

I doubt that I could do anything that would surprise the folks of Ashland any more...lol

I've gone to church in my kilt. I wear all kinds of hats every where depending on my mood. It wouldn't get me a second look if I walked down Broadway in my buckskins.

I have drawn my own line by not wearing my loin cloth around town but I have worn it at the MoBoJam. (According to some, it wasn't a pretty sight.)...lol

Ronp(Ron Purdy) was kind enough to send me some wool to try out for my hats.

The material arrived at 12:15 pm and I took these at 1:00pm.

I keep telling everyone that these hats are so easy that anyone can make themselves one.

What's your vote?
