A walk in the woods
« on: February 12, 2011, 03:19:00 PM »
The kids and I finally got out this afternoon for a walk in the woods after a month hiatus from hunting. The snow was deep!!! We had fun though, shot a few stumps and took a few breaks to enjoy the scenery.

I can't wait for spring!!! This was a
test too for the 54 inch St. Joe recurve
that I want to try out during turkey season. Here is a short video:

Just one more step please!

Nice pics is your boy holding a deer antler slingshot?
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don’t have that problem.

Yes it is!!   :D   We found that shed hunting and the first thing he thought was to buy a slingshot band from Kmart, LOL! It is surprisingly accurate.

Very nice.
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥
