Bow storage
«

I am very new to traditional archery and just read that unstrung bows should never be stored standing up in a corner. They should be stored by hanging them on pegs. Why? Any answers would be appreciated.

You can also store them horizontally on pegs. Very safe method.

Does anyone have a picture of a good design of a peg hanging system? I have more room for hanging vertical than horizontal.
Thanks

drill a 11/32 hole into anything and then put small sections of arrow shafts in them either with caulking if its sheetrock or woodglue if is a wood board then put HTM blunts over the ends of the shafts.

Here's one I put together. Used to rest my bow horizontally, until I got a couple more, then I went vertical.
