BEE-U-T-FUL weather for a 3D shoot
« on: February 13, 2011, 08:38:00 PM »
Man we had another sweet day for being outdoors shootin today, in the 60's! Not trying to brag (well maybe a little) because I know there is alot of white stuff still covering this country, but I know these threads give you something to look forward too. I got to get my boy out there for the first time this year also and he had a ball! We had a rookie with us today teaching him the best we could, not sure if that was good or bad but defiantly fun!! The crew consisted of me and my boy Landon, Bigdog(TG name), Deerdog(TG name) and rookie Mike. We shot at Brushy Mountain Archery club and they had some awesome BBQ chicken plates for lunch then we hit the trail.
The crew

Rookie Mike

Bigdog shootin "The Hammer"

Deerdog with that easy draw and locked at achor

My boy Landon locked and loaded

Checkin out the shot

Come on Bigdog quit takin the snacks from the kid!!!!

Sorry no pics of my ugly mug, I was snapping pics from my phone and couldn't find a mirror!

When we got back home my boy said "When can we go back that was to fun", thats all I needed to hear I'm ready to go!!! Enjoy the pics   :archer2:

Great pictures!  I wish our snow would melt! I haven't seen the ground here in 2 1/2 months.

Great picts, it was a great day for shooting. The snow here has finally started to go away, and spring is around the corner.

One of the many reasons I want to move down that way, sunshine, sweat shirts, brown leaves on the ground, and it's February!!! Looks like a great day....love see'n the kids out on a day like that!

You are right illwhttail, that is my boys. He picked the colors I had in my box of feathers and I glued them on his silver aluminums, pretty good looking arrows if I do say so. He has one that has all 3 feathers tri-colored and its his "deadly" arrow as he calls it.
