Eye dominance

Guys for years I have been shooting right handed and recently I have found out I am left eye dominant. What to do, I have trained myself to shoot right eyed. Do I start over and go left eyed?

I would say that depends how well you shoot right handed. If your struggling because of eye dominance then you want to consider trying a left handed bow for awhile and see how you do. If not , don't fix what ain't broke

I'm the same as you, but have shot righty so long I don't feel handicapped by it. I suspect my shooting could improve if I made the full switch to lefty but have yet to make the plunge.

I am the same as you. After my fried suggested to give it a try, I noticed that was more natural to shoot lefty. Since I am righty, my right arm is stronger than my left arm. That also made the pointing a bit more consistent.
Learning to shoot lefty is faster when comparing with when I learn how to shoot righty. I must have benefited from borrowing the past experience. The other benefit is I can shoot almost everyday by alternating right and left bows.

Borrow a light weight left handed bow and try it. You will never know till you do.

I recently switched due to eye dominance, it was much easier then I thought it would be. I'm very glad I did it.

I shot right-handed for 28 years and closed my, left dominant eye. I began shooting left-handed in 1996 and it was the best thing I ever did!
