Guys there should be no changes to valuations or your numbers.  Only update was that Stu added additional arrows and bows to the data base.

Bruce you do not double click.  Click once and you should see an up-down arrow in the lower right corner of the box. Use the arrows to scroll up and down.

My apologizes to all.

I was running the calculator testing a Martin Jaguar which has an extreme minus center cut and I left the Strike Plate (Plunger button) setting in place. .570 is about the minimum plunger setting.

I have cleared the setting and uploaded a cleared version of the calculator.

Hello David,
I went ahead and added the Bl;acktail recurves for ya.

There was no change to the equations at all so the numbers should be exactly the same as before as long as you are using the same inputs.  Both me and Les checked it and I didn't see anything different.  Please double check them and send me an email with the specifics (or a screen grab) of your setup and I will certainly get to the bottom of it.  You can reach me at:

Hello

It's working  well for me as long i use the "general recurve" bow type but if i switch to my real bow model , a PSA , the value of the bow is completely false  :banghead:

Stu,
I found the same thing.  The value was way off from the older version.  Perhaps the strikeplate is off?  For instance a 50# Bear Super Kodiak showed a dynamic spine of 38#  I know that is not right.

David and Richard

I ran the 50 Super Kodiak and got 58.8
I suggest you clear center cut and strike plate to zero 0 and save the program  or try downloading it again.

See my above post. I have corrected it.
there was a false strike plate setting of .600 when I uploaded the program.  Sorry

Guys,
I can't get the data library to copy & paste.  Any ideas?

BTW thanks for a great program.

Scott there are a couple things going on here. The first cell is protected so you need to copy the cells and not the line. I use click..make shift click dynamic spine req. this copies the cells.

click Make/type cell on the line you want to copy it to.   NOW you want to do Paste Special
select values only and paste.

The copy & paste doesn't work for me either. It appears that all of that line of data is protected.

Ok, I'm a idiot and can't get it to work.  I work with Excel everyday and still don't know all the ins & outs.
No matter what I do I cannot get the protected cells to highlight so I can copy them.

What kind of data does Stu need to include Blacktail recurves in his calculations?

Yes, I'd like to see the Blacktail recurve data in there too.  Exactly what is it that Stu will need?

I ended up using CTRL+Shift+" to copy the cell above.  I'll move that line down and do the same thing for the next bow.  A little tedious but it works.

For my Blacktails, I just use the "Generic Recurve" and this has always worked for me.
Blacktail TD Recurve: 66", 42# @ 30". Arrow: 32", 2212. PW: 75 Grains. AW: 421 Grains. GPP: 10.02
Blacktail TD Recurve: 66", 37# @ 30". Arrow: 32", 2212. PW: 75 Grains. AW: 421 Grains. GPP: 11.37
