I took some pics today of my bows... here's my 66" Cumberland 53# @ 28". I asked Marty to make it look sorta like a selfbow... using all the same wood... curly hickory. I think it may have been a little boring for Marty to make it this way but I really like the way it turned out.

Really good information. It's always a pleasure to hear excellent feedback about a bow you have just ordered. I really like utilizing some of the lesser known bowyers. In the past I have shot Arners', 7-Lakes and Treadways. They are all excellently made had have provided me countless hours of pleasure doing something I really like. Anyway, I am really looking forward to receiving the new Cumberland and experiencing the straight-limbed longbow.

I'm on the list for an Ossabaw that should be in April some time. If the bows shoot as good as they look, then they must be worth every penny.

Gene, I like plain. As, simple and functional are what it's all about! To purty of a bow, and you won't want to take it in the woods!
