fully enclosed side quivers

I'm thinking about going this rout to keep my fletching dry,any of you tryed them ? what do you think of them ?

HI Tim!
I think you'll find a lot of guys have and use side quivers - me included.  There are many out there, from petite to humongous.  They all have their advantages and disadvantages.  

That being said, if you do a search you can read opinions about lots of 'em.

I have used and liked several but now am also looking to make a switch to one that I can cover fletching.  Rather than taking the time to list and commenting on them, take a look through the archives here....lots of good info!

I use them a lot and i don't arrive at hunting camp without either my Jack bowers Cheif side quiver or my Rod Jenkins Arrowmaster .

Ought to work.  I used a plastic bread bag under a polarfleece fletching hood on my side quiver.  Keeps 'em dry and you can pull the shafts out the side as needed.

I have had one of Jack Bower's Chief side quiver's for many years and love it.  Jack's one of the best so I'm biased.  A friend has an Arrowmaster which he likes as well.  Both are good choices depending on your needs.

My FIL uses an arrow master that I got him for Christmas.  He's a wheeliebow shooter though.  He hated bow quivers and he hated the fact of even having one on his rig, even for walking to stand.  So he jury rigged his primos bow sling with foam at each end and jammed his arrows in there.  Well, I had enough of that so I got him one for Christmas of 2009.  He loves it.

Check out Rod's quivers on safarituff.com. They are great quivers and super quiet. Plus Rod is a hunter. He didn't just make them and hope hunters would like them.

I like the safari tuff arrow master myself. Like Rob said "super light and camo fletch rain cap keeps the feathers dry". It's a very high quality piece of gear IMO.

Safari Tuff Master, holds everything you need and protects the arrows, expensive, but worth it in the long run.
