Jim- Thats a beauty. I am on his list and getting a 59 hybrid as well. The wierd thing is I was gonna ask him if he can do a compass on the bow! Thought I would be original. I see you were original before me!!

Love the rosewood - I will probably get the same but instead of a maple window - I will probabll go with purpleheart.

Thanx for sharing. Gorgeous.

Does anyone have contact information for this bowyer.  He appears to be one of those very talented bowyers that not many people know about.

Migra Bill,I wasn't original at all. There was a bow on his site with it.

Burnsie, the company is Vintage Works Bows.If you do a Google search you should get it.He makes the '59 in 56",58"'60", +64",also'60-'61,'64 and '59 Hybrid models in 60".Photography on the site is excellent.

I think the Hybrid is actually the riser profile of the '60-'61 but made to look like the '59.You have your choice of woods and glass.I chose to keep it close to the original '59 looks.

That is an awesome bow. Did it come with the feather rest? It just hit me how perfect they are for the old flat-shelved,(not radiased shelf) bows.

Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Do bowyers buy other bowyers bows? If they do I might have to get me one of those. That is the nicest bow I have seen. Almost. But its right there. That is truly art work.
God bless you all, steve

Owlgrowler, the pictures show it exactly as it came.I just took it out of the box.You can opt out of the feather rest, leather handle or any other feature. This is what I wanted on mine.
