Bama bow -Two or three bamboo lams?
« on: February 17, 2011, 10:41:00 AM »
I'm thinking about ordering a 62 inch Bama longbow.  Do you think it matters whether I get the standard two lams or should I spend an extra $25 for a three lam? What's your opinion. Pup

Don't think it matters much. I'd go w/3 because of my new Tembo. Very nice draw & smooth.

I've never ordered extra lams but it can't hurt. I take it you are ordering a Hunter?

Those have 4 lams. The Royal's have 6. The Elites also have 6. I notice more speed with the extra lams on the Royal.

I think it is well worth $25. You pay a lot more for laminations elsewhere.

I guess that if I order I'll go with three lams of bamboo. Thanks, guys. Pup
