I bought a 52" Toelke recurve recently. I've been very impressed.

I'd have to recomend Lee Hoots he makes the addiction recurve or look him up "hootscustombows" I recently got one.
I draw 27" but it would undoubtibly be fine at 28".Best short 54" inch bow I've ever shot.

I just checked out a Big Jim Buffalo that Big Jim had with him this past weekend.  If I had the money I would have purchased it.  It was 54" and 70# It drew very smooth to my 30" draw and he draws it to his 30.5" draw.  It has I believe an 11" riser.  He only wanted $450 for it but I didn't have it to spare.

Beetlebailey- that bow is a scout. a shorter version of my buffalo. I have shot that 54" bow a bunch of times and it is suprisingly comfortable for me, however I would say that I should be shooting it in a 56".
thanks, bigjim

I have owned and shot many short bows,so far my favorite is a Lone Wolf Banshee-52" 60# recurve,Bear K-mags are good, I had a Shrew 54"LB that I did not like I also did not care for Bear Super Mags.

Cascade 52 inch is a great little bow.  Has enough mass in the riser to be stable, does not stack for me at 28.  Very quite, Steve only wants B50 on the short bow.  It is also a takedown, so you can get different limbs if needed.  I was shooting mine last night getting ready for turkeys, and it is a sweet little bow.

I also have been doing a little research on short bows and I am really liking the Cascade line of short bows. Want something I can hunt with out of a pop up, or tree stand.

Two Tracks Ambush will do what you are asking.  Chuck builds a fine bow for sure!!
