What's This Christmas in February??
« on: February 22, 2011, 08:28:00 PM »
So i got a package in the mail today and opened it up...what do I see???
a new to me 64" 58#@27 Hollenbeck R/D Hybrid that i bought from Tradgang member Green!  Raced up to my buddys house and put a few arrows through her and let me tell you what she is a smoker!!!
Here is a pic of the bow

Thanks for the bow Rob. I am extremely happy and could not have picked a better person to do business with, hope you felt the same.

Now could anyone give me a little history lesson on Hollenbeck bows?  Green filled me in some but anymore information would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!
Nate

cool.
“instinctive archery” is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.

Enjoy!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Nate - I know there's at least one member here who is still in touch with Roger....hopefully he will chime in and give you some background.  Not sure if they're one in the same, but Clint B also has one of these bows and might be able to lend some info.

Like most every Tradgang member I've made friends or had dealings with....Nate is a true gentleman and couldn't ask for a nicer person to see this old friend and hunting partner through the next phase of its' life.

cool!,nice bow.
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
