Paper tuning with & without quiver

I was paper tuning my new Blacktail ELite and noticed that when the quiver was off (Thunderhorn Boa) I got bullet holes.  However, when I put the quiver back on, the tear was up and left.  Fairly dramatically.  Has anyone ever experienced this?

A quiver can change tune that is why you need to tune with the setup you intend to hunt with.  I tune with a bow quiver with one arrow out.  Guess I'm anal.

My EFA doesn't change things much but you should always tune with the bow set up exactly as it will be when hunting,same string,silencers, quiver.

Thanks for the replys.  I agree to tune like you hunt.  I also leave one arrow out!  Definitely anal on my part.  I just wanted to see if anyone experienced this.

I think it depends on the quiver,maybe the archer and the bow.I hear a lot of people say the quiver definitely affects things though.

Everything must be tuned exactly in the way you hunt,so if you use a quiver tune your bow with quiver on and the same amount of ARROWS you have on it less the one that you are going to shoot.

The quiver on or off will make a difference on all of my bows I know that

Yeah I get that too just a bit, even though the quiver is completely off the limbs. It may just be the weight of the quiver affecting hand movement after the release.

I shoot my bows better with a bow quiver on the bow........with that being said. All bow quivers will effect the bow in some way or another, no matter what weight, style, etc. I have never based tuning a hunting rig with just the results of a naked bow. Its not the tuning standard to base decisions from in my mind. I like to tune my bow as though it was sitting in my stand with me ready to shoot a deer. That means I tune it with a bow quiver attached to my bow. And it rides there all season. In fact it stays on my bow most all the time.
