I'm Turkey hunting in Florida the first week of March and want to know if it's legal to transport the feathers and fan back to Michigan in my checked luggage. Thanks.

Don't know of a problem if ya have your tags etc..
I would wrap carfully. The other option would be to ship express mail or fed X before ya leave....

I check mine in under the plane plane. I put a piece of paper with my name, address, phone number and license number on it. If I get feathers from other hunters I get their info also. No problems for me. I have carried the breast meat thru TSA inspections no problem.

Shouldn't be a problem. Don't be suprised if they ask you about it though. It seems that every airport has 1 or 2 TSA agents that just like to give someone a hard time. Just smile & be polite.
