Another thing is when he shoots make sure he is close enough to the traget that he won't miss. I know this is what I have stressed to my kids and grandkids from 2 years old until this very day. Matter of fact the 3 oldest grand kids are preaching it to their new friends. They always tell them "Bowhunting is not about how far away you can shoot and animal, but how close you can get.
This keeps them encouraged and lets face it nobody at any age wants to miss all the time, so keep em close and arrow flight means nothing.
I agree with the rest of the guys, just being thier with dad is victory already.
