I own a Schafer Silvertip TD Recurve and love it. I feel it is the best recurve I have ever shot. I am getting a Schafer Longbow sent to me. One piece 64". Are Dave's longbows ranked up there as being a top longbow as his recurves are?

I do not know where they "Rank", but I have had many of the high-end longbows and my favorite is my two-piece Schafer longbow (same as a one piece but it has the Robertson takedown Conexion installed).

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I have a 64" Schafer LB and it is one of the smoothest, most quiet, and best looking bows around. You are in for a treat-at least as good as his recurves.
