Stu's calaulator question
« on: March 05, 2011, 02:15:00 PM »
I have a 66" Mohawk takedown. It was measured to be 45# @ 28". I'm trying to use the calculator to see if I can adjust some carbons I have. I understand its centercut 5/16 but the calc doesn't go that far. Is there a bow he has spec's listed for in V2 that is close to the Mohawk? I have been using generic reflex/deflex longbow. Any suggestions?

Best way to do it is to download the new calculator instructions.....scroll down towards the bottom and he has a foolproof way for measuring center cut yourself....then plug this figure into the calculator and you should be able to get darned close to what arrow the bow should shoot best.

Steve if ya draw 28"s go with a GT entrada cut to 29"s and 50 grain brass insert and 125 grain head, it should spine about perfect but may be a tad light gpp wise. You also could go with a GT 35/55 and cut to 29"s and shoot anywhere from 225 to 275 up front. Shawn

Thanks for the replies. I have the version 2 but look forward to another update. Great calculator, and it just keeps getting better. I'm gonna get some GT 35/55 and do some tinkering.
