Great looking bow Steve! What do you have planned to chase with those heavier limbs, you and Marty going back to Canada for another shot at moose? He told me the outfitter is giving you guys a deal to come back and give it another go. Anyway that bow is a work of art, ENJOY!

Man that footed carbon looks great! I shot one like it at KZoo. I also have a similar riser/wood combo. That snake wood is just beautiful and I am a sucker for bubinga. Good luck with a beauty! Here's my rig from South:

Steve, Great looking bow. With those pretty limbs you should be able to kill anything 62# WOW. You must be young and strong. I know Glasgow does get a little snow, every so often.  Hope it clears soon, I am ready, its been a long one. Enjoy

I love these Stalker pics but I have to admit, I asked South to build me an ugly(unique) Stalker 3 pc longbow. He says I may be a trend setter! But he also said that a moose calf is the homeliest creature born but its mother still loves. I can't wait to see my "moose calf".

Phil yes Marty and I are going for round 2, We will give it one more shot and see what happens.

Longstykes, the limbs are actually 59@ 28 and I draw 29 so I guess I'm getting a few more pounds out of it, I'm thinking 62 @ 29 ?? I'll be 60 in a few months,, I do think the 53 Lb limbs would be adaquate for moose, I have only shot it in my basement and 12 yards max, but he arrows seem to hit the target as hard as any bow I've shot at a lot higher poundage, but we will see when I get outside

I want to see some pics of the stalkers when you get them, that tiger maple sounds interesting,

And what's the deal with the moose calf, what woods are we talking about...

A beauty for sure!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I'm sworn to secrecy until South decides  if he wants to take credit or not. He may decide to keep his name off this one!  :scared:
