Look what Troop 281 got today.

Nick,

The bows and other equipment came today, they are awesome thanks again. I was taken back, from how fast everything came together. The Boys at troop 281 will be thanking you for a long time for your generosity. I will send pictures if you would like, then you can see the happy faces these guys will have when they see the gifts that Compton have provided. I can promise from the experience I have with my boys, the gifts you send, they know that they do not come free. The boys will pay the price with a guaranteed use, care and respect knowing everything has a price. They know that even material things are paid for through someone’s hard work. I can tell you they will live up to the trust that you have given to them, without even knowing their corrector.

Thank you

Bruce Deaver

Thank you Nick Dedaker and Jim Shank We received 4 bows five dozen arrows, tabs, armguards, gloves and I think quiver kits from the Campton Archery club. What great people you guys are, you are extra- extraordinary. Thank you everyone at Campton Archery, I would say you guys will be rewarded but, I know you already believe you have been.

Techum-tha thank you for the donations you are working on for us, you will make Adam and Ryan some very happy young shooting Scouts with the gift you are trying to put together for these young men. Thanks Roland I appreciate your help and advice you have shared.  :archer:

Ok guys this is going well with the bow orders, I got a call from Rudderbows and the bows were shipped on Friday.
Can anyone give me any ideas for homemade silencers for these Boys strings, and what do you think if I put those string finger things, on their strings instead of shooting tabs or a glove, I don’t know what they are called. How much trouble will these things be?

Right now we have 17 bows coming from Rudderbows that we ordered for my Scouts, they should be here Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks for everything; these guys will be 24 shooting Boy Scouts full of running hoping skipping excitement. I know what you’re thinking safety. I am bringing in an instructor from our local game commission for a archery safety course right off the bat. We will be working on the risers at first as well, so we will have time to talk about the dangers of a miss fired bow. An arrow launched in a direction not intended. That sounds like my shooting.LOL

The guys are coming along very well, teaching them the proper shooting form is taking some time but they are all doing good. It has been a blast seeing them grow with the bow to learn what it takes to become a traditional archer. I know some say its becoming the arrow or the bow. That is what it is but to become a true archer I think one needs to grow with the bow and arrow, to become a true traditional archer. Its the growth and learning process that forms an archer into who he or she will become. It’s the proper process that is a challenge for me and sometimes scares me. I don’t want to teach these guys bad habits that will take these guys’ years to overcome.
I appreciate everyones help and would like to thank Tecum-tha the bows you provided are extraordinary, matched with the arrows you built for the bows. They are bringing joy and fun beyond what you might imagine.

To everyone at Campton Archery:  the gear you provided for our troop, I can’t list it all but the tabs,  armguards,  arrows,  bows,  quivers and so much more.

thanks to inthere10x for the arrows and gear. You and your son can shoot with us anytime we will be at Denton Hill Saturday and Sunday. Email me and we can get together and shoot.
Thanks again to everyone, we are indebted.

Rudderbows, you are the best I can't say enough. Great peaple here guys, just some awsome peaple.
