I have a 58" Stalker Surge. Great shooting bow, one of the best grips I have ever had on a bow, and great looking. South is an excellent bowyer and bowhunter. I have a Stalker t/d longbow coming soon!

You show him Ryan, by the way which do you prefer more, the longbow or recurve?

By the way Ryan, good to see you're ok on the island.

Here's some pics of my Stalker Scout:

As far as shooting, it is very smooth. It fools me and I think it is lighter than it really is. I can't wait to give it a go on turkies  :)

I got an email from South a couple of days ago. I won the "name the bow" contest he had and my Tracker will be in the mail next week. It will be 58" and 55#. When i get it tuned and have put a few arrows thru it I'll tell ya'all my impressions. I'm a recurve shooter so  having a new longbow with a sculpted handle should be interesting.

Thanks Vince!
That's a tough one.  I've always prefered a 3pc longbow but I've really grown attached to my 56" curve.  I must say though, the 3pc longbow is a tad bit quiter, a little smoother shooting, with only a minimal loss of a couple fps in speed.

Thanks Mike!  We were very fortunate!

Aloha!
Ryan

Looks like you can't go wrong with a bow from South Cox! So many good Bowyers these days,it is absolutely insane to deal with some of these fly by night characters.I can see how this forum could have saved alot of people money on unsure purchases in the past.THANKS for all the replies.
