Shooting 45 lb longbow with 450grn arrow W/190 grn heads...

wondering to build tree sharks, land sharks, or interceptors...

What will you be hunting? for average size game I'd say the two blade interceptor out of your 45# bow. JMHO.

yes i concur i would also pick the interseptors the tree sharks are realy nice but i would personaly shoot them out off a higher poundage bow they are 2 inches wide the simmons glueones are alot stronger than the screw on models from what i have read lots off people shooting trad recomends the interseptors Byron Fergusson shoots them think he even hade a signature interseptor

Thanks fellas...
I figured one couldn't go wrong with the interceptors, but remember seeing some photos of deer with the others and the awesome holes..
I couldn't believe that the simmons website didn't give the widths on some of the heads... even though I will be using carbons, be gluing up glue ons to adapters....
thanks

I like all the big Simmons. The treeshark and tigershark are my favorites however. The treeshark gives me a 205gn head on a long aluminum adapter and the tiger shark gives me a 175 for screw-in heads. Both will work well at lighter draw weights.I will be using both from a 42lb bow this year.Have used them from 46lb bows for the last couple of years with great results.I will be useing them both on glue-in adapters this year for the first time to save a little weight on my carbon arrows out of this lighter bow.I don't expect any problems on deer and hogs however.

James i took your set up and ordered the tiger shark... Was hard to decide between the interceptors and the the tiger, but Figured may be a lil easier to insert and remove from the quiver...
Also got their wheelie sharpener and ceramic sticks...
I'm a hopin to get er all set up and ventilate something real soon!!! Okay August(small game/hogs on GA WMA) or September (Deer!!!!)

Slasher, the Tiger will work great out of your setup for deer/hogs. I personally use the glue on Tiger with a 100 grain steel adaptor for a total of 235 grains. Out of my 55#@25 inch bow it is quite the broadhead on deer. I switch over to the interceptor or stos when I hunt elk.
