I'm pretty sure your going to have to use limbs made for that particular riser, unless you have a ILF riser and use ILF limbs,

ILF's are an international standard fitting.  Any ILF equipped riser, is capable of receiving ILF limbs. Other bow manufacturers have there own fitting and although you can change poundages by buying another set of limbs from the same manufacturer. You cannot put limbs from one manufacturer on to another.

Yes they are either ILF bows or there is a company that makes a specific limb for the bow like RER for the Bear TD. hope that helps

You can have a different bowyer build limbs for your riser, if you can talk them into it.  I have seen a Dryad bow sporting Mad Dog limbs and other limbs with a Black Creek riser made to fit them.

But just bolting on a set of limbs to a riser that is of a different brand may work and shoot but the geometry of it all the two parts not being designed to fit one another may make for a not so good idea.

unless it's an ilf riser, all 3pc t/d's are branded and custom fit by the bowyer.  ilf is the only exception, for the most part.
