a bow tillered for split i find most tune in with the nock about 5/8 above center. i use a single nock and have never heard of the arrow sliding down the string on release.

Try a second nock sometime, you might be surprised...

Like the other 3undr said about 5/8" sometimes for split finger tillered bows.

Well as always lots of good info. here. When I shot split finger I set my Morrison Shawnee nock at just a little above 1/2", so as it's seems most shoot about 5/8" so that's what I did and I put a nock on the bottom
I went out and shot today and my arrows flew great, it looks like my point of aim is about
35/40 yards. For now I'm working on getting used to three under. There was one thing I learned clean up your brass nock after you cramped them.
(cut my nose up a little). Thanks for all the input.

I put the arrow above my three fingers and the nock just above the arrow ; )

Couldn't resist.
I move my nock up to shoot three under.
