The Oregon ranch was sweet. Lots of elk and mule deer. I didn't see any big bulls but the ranch mgr tells me that there are a few shooters every year! The deer were plentiful and I'm told that some nice bucks hit the alfalfa in late August. Did I mention the ranch is very private and the owner allows no hunting...period! But for me and my lil' ol' longbow she will make an allowance...

Curt we'll figure out a way to get you a KS tag. I will need ya to help drag out my big ol KS monster buck! Plus it won't be as much fun teasing ol' Momma P by myself!!

Hmmm...Did I also mention she was very, very beautiful? Biggie, I'll send ya some Sitka Info later this week. Hey, when can I come to Georgia and see all those beautiful "Southern Belles" I hear so much about...oh yeah and maybe even shoot a hog or two.

Stay cool, Peter

Peter, I drew in Kansas this year and I have an appointment with a Booner that wouldn't die last year.(No comments from you Biggie). If you want to kill hogs, you need to come to the lease that Biggie and I have in Florida. Best time is when it cools down up your way! Marty McMahon PS you can bring the lady rancher if ya want.

Marty,

Sweet! Where is this "un-killable" Booner? I will glaldy help ya out. Me, you and One sweet Biggie after hogs? Hmmm...I'm in! Let me know a good time and I'll be on the next plane out. Who does the cooking? I think I'll leave my sexy ranch babe home. One look at Biggie and she'll probably fall for the big cuddly bear!

Barry put me on that Booner last year, but he blindfolded me at the Kansas City Airport. I have no idea where I was!Just put my Marine son on a plane back to California, he was home on leave. He's off to the far desert in November. Be hard to concentrate for 8 moths after that.Best time to come to Fl is Jan-March. No bugs and cooler weather for us. You'll love it. As far as cooking-I do it and look at Biggie-No complaints!

UPDATE On the KS draw.
I did draw a tag for A4 and so did the other two Okies (Raincrow, JohnBow) that hunt with me. Must have been a glich on the KS web site. The info came up today.
The three Okies from Norman, OK are going to KS and hunt with KSBow. We have been waiting for some to to return for a whitetail hunt.   :D
Might just have to make a new selfbow for this hunt. I made one for a hunt a few years back and scored with it.
Can't wait. Will have to make a few trips up there to get the lay of the land.     HA. Same place we hunt turkeys each fall and spring. I'm pumped.    :archer:

This buck came off the same ground I hunted last November in Kansas. I lucked out and drew a 2007 tag and am going back this year. Awesome bucks in Kansas. I saw more big deer in a week than the past five years at home.
