We'll today was the day that a few of us got together at Kirk Barnards (Possum head) place for a little shooting. All together had seven to show up and try out Kirk's home range.  He had made a total of 15 targets that ranged from a squirrel the size of a spray paint can to a cow elk.  I had a great time and I believe the others did as well.  Kirk let me say the shooting was great as well as the hospitality, thanks for the food and drinks and the great fellowship

Here's a few pic's of the day...
Shane (Champ38)
Kirk (Possum Head)

Tommy (Kirk's Bro in law)
Riley (Kirk's Son in law)
Some of the youth of his church

Some of the fun!

Your'e welcome Bro. John and thanks for the kind review.Man I had a blast, food and fun with like-minded individuals is sure to make for a good time!Last night I took my first step toward getting to know my longbow better I destrung my curve and put it away.I'm glad Tommy's work schedule allowed him to attend. Now Riley's a different story as he's ready at the drop of a hat.We were all pleased to have Shane (Champ 38) come over from Alabama and join us even though he beat us like red headed step yuonguns.Man can he shoot and that Centaur's a cannon.Hey,men those red bugs were free just call it a package deal.Until we get together again shoot straight and thanks for coming.Nice pics John.

Guys, I had a blast ! I really appreciate the invitation. Kirk you got a beautiful place bro back in those MS woods, and your range was top notch...love the wooly deer and monster chipmonk   :)  It was all good, but the best part was just hanging out fellow trad archers... I do hope that we can all get together again soon.

Corey, if you ever do get in the area and know when you may be closer we may could work out a date and time.  Would be glad to shoot a round with you.

Kirk, you remember how I told you the "Standing tall" buck was causing all the car in my neighborhood to hit the brakes?  Well somebody must have got tired of seeing that deer and they ripped his head off, I mean ripped it in half right off his body,    :scared:   I'll have to make some new heads before our shoot, which i'll still need to look at a calendar and set a date.

You got any pic's to post from Saturday?
