I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow Tradgang Member
« on: March 29, 2011, 09:31:00 PM »
I was reading a post today where Stephen Claypool was mentioning he would like to have someone to shoot with.

As it turns out Stephen lives very close by.

I managed to find a phone number for him and gave him a call.

I invited him to drop by since he wasn't busy.

Anyway he did, we had a great time!!

He might have gotten a little taste of Hill...lol

Time will tell if he was just exposed or if he was in fact bitten...lol

Thanks for coming over Stephen. I look forward to shooting with you again.

God bless,Mudd

Hey, thanks for the invite mudd. Had a great time. Guy's u should of been there. Bows everywhere!! In the shed, in the house, in the corner, in the rafters. Everywhere! Man does he have some nice bows. A beautiful collection mudd.
This was my first time shooting a hill bow and actually the first time shooting a real longbow. I can see myself shooting one for sure, but would like to spend some more time w/ the recuve for now. That will give me time to talk momma into it.
Next time aerials at my place. Thanks again.

That's outstanding Mudd! Met a fellow trad ganger myself a few weeks ago and had a really nice afternoon shooting Hills. He's hooked now!

I know Stephen enjoyed the Hill bows but I think he was almost as equally impressed with an old favorite of mine.

The old (close to 20 yrs old) "BBO" showed him how quiet and accurate self bows can be.

Stephen's enthusiasm was evident.

He had a very tough time wanting to stop, no matter that it had started to rain and seeing the tiny target was getting tough due to lack of light...lol
