Drooling Problem
« on: March 30, 2011, 12:14:00 AM »
I was just taking a look at Doug Campbell's knife albums on his picture site. After the first slideshow was over i went to move my mouse and stuck my hand in a spot of spit.

I ACTUALLY DROOLED while gauking at knife after knife and didnt even notice it haha.

Im so jealous of my brother who happens to be lucky enough to own one of these masterpieces.  Ive held several over the years, but one day I will own at least one.

Just thought I'd share this somewhat comical moment!

I went one step beyond the drool rag..

If you go to the photos of Doug's knives... second Set titled "more knives" I just ordered the beautiful damascas sheephorn drop point on page 3 of that section... 1st knife on the second row...

I can hardly wait as I have wanted one of Doug's knives since first seeing them.. This knife will match the one "Tippet" built me for my arm guard very nicely, as the handle profiles are very close.. This is the one Jeff aka: "Tippit" made, mated up with an Armguard by Tim Roberts.

I love his work and need to buy one of them these days. I need to buy one of those knife/arm guard setups.   :)
“instinctive archery” is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.
