Stringstretcher comes through in a pinch!
« on: March 30, 2011, 06:07:00 PM »
Hats off to Charles for getting some arrows modified for me in time to get down to south Texas this weekend with them. I knew he was buried with business and health issues this winter / early spring, but he took on my job for free and and came though with time to spare. I'll definitely be sending him feathers if I nail 'ol Tom.

Great guy and excellent work.

Thanks again Charles!

Agreed.

Charlie is my go to guy for natural feathers. Timely post too. I've been meaning to post up a photo of the feathers Charlie sent me.

HPForge,

I hope you score on ol' Tom so you can get some of these....

I sent Charlie all the extras I had, whether I could use them or not, just for the cause and to help out. Can't wait to send him some LWs this next time around!

Thanks everyone.  I know that some are still waiting on their feathers, and they are being processed.  I am slower than I want to be, but not because I just don't want to.  All orders are being worked in the order I received them via mail.  I think I am down to my last 5 orders and hopefully the will all go out by next week.  My goal was to have them all done by April 1, but did not make it.

I am getting some results from some medical results tomorrow and not sure what will happen with my continued effort to do feathers or anything as far as that goes.  For those that know me, or have feather work to be done, just please bear with me is all I ask.  I will post what I will be able to do or not on my Associate Sponsor Listing for all to see by Saturday.  I hope I can continue to serve the archery community that I so love and have been doing for over 45 years, every day of my life.  But sometimes life throws you curves, and I just have to find a way to "straighten them out"

Thanks again everyone, and I hope it is a banner year for all you turkey hunters to gather feathers, and become part of the "STRINGSTRETCHER SUPPORT GROUP"

Stringstretcher, I got 3 sets of feathers right now.  One happens to be my first Osceola I took Tuesday afternoon.   I pulled the feathers from the wing this time instead of saving the whole thing!!!  I was/am pleased with the ones I got last year from ya

Keep on getting them and then let me know when you want to ship the and we will do it again.  And congrats on your firs Osceola.  Now go down to Mexico and get one of those "Goulds" and send me the feathers.....  :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:
