where to put feather rest

for those of you who use them, where do you put your feather rests? i'm thinking right above the deepest part of the grip on any bow. is this correct? thanks for any help.

Yes. That is the "pivot point" and should be the highest spot on the shelf.

Have one but never got around to trying it, think I will tomorrow, just worried about it getting wet when your hunting.
