I suggest thaw wing, pour very hot water on wing and the feathers pop out easily. I think the hot water zaps the mites too. Save feathers for fletching. To make a wingbone call, cut bones on each end to expose marrow, boil the wing until the meat is very loose, blow out the marrow while warm, remove as much meat and gristle as you can, then let bones cool. scrape off any remaining meat. Use high strength peroxide to whiten the bones. Get artistic and cut off small sections of the bones at each end and keep fitting them until it looks good to you. expoxy or superglue in place. Practice until you don't sound like a sick seal.
