Just can't wait ...
« on: March 31, 2011, 11:40:00 PM »
Well, it is getting late.  I have worked out and should be sleeping.  I have a huge glass of wine and am listening to the blues, Buddy Guy, Keb Moe, Hound Dog Taylor etc.  I can not get to sleep.

Soon I will get a new bow from Two Tracks.  64 inch long walker.  Boo cores with an inner core of black walnut, cocbolo and goncolo alves riser, spalted sycamore back/belly.  It is supposed to be a real beauty!  About 46 @ 28, so like 52 at my draw.  I can't wait to see her. Chuck has been great to work with.  When I get her I will have him post a few pics.

From time to time we all have sometin' about trad bow hunting that keeps us awake! Have a good night!
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Bob, enjoy the wait and the new bow. I see you have a few other great bows.

Longstykes,

I am blessed for sure.  The 40 pound Mowhawk is actually my sons.  However,he is shooting the Whip real well now, so perhaps my wife will "inherit" the Mowhawk.

I may be selling my 66 inch Hawk, who knows.  So I am stoked to get the longwalker!!  Also, long story but I am taking a huge paycut soon, so I ordered a 68 inch Deathwish - Yew over Boo limbs, bacotoe riser.  I figured get one while I can.  It will be here perhaps by May.  So, I am blessed to have such wonderful bows.  I can't wait!
