Arm Guards?
« on: April 03, 2011, 11:40:00 AM »
I want to make a new armguard for my son. I can't find shock cord or the hooks that you normally see on arm guards. Can anybody give me a good source where they have gotten them. Thanks in advance.

3Ricers carries it in 10' sections I think.

Can you post a link to the cord and hooks?
I've look all over and asked at the local Tandy and they don't have it.

Those boot hooks are actually on sale for nearly half price at Tandy this month.  I've got to go stock up.

I also got 100' of 1/8" black bungee cord from that auction site that is a swear word on this forum    :)     Paid about $15 - really good deal!

Bungee cord is also sold in the camping section of stores as tent-pole repair kits.
