quiver for possible bag?
« on: April 07, 2011, 04:20:00 PM »
Can anyone suggest a bow quiver that would mount easy enough to the flap of my possible bag. I've been told that the sagittarius 8 arrow is good, but I can not find one. I think they are out of business. Does German Ridge sell the quiver seperate from their bag? What have some of you come up with? Thanks in advance! Jon

I like the quiver above the bag, not on top of the flap. Arrows and possibles are both accessible.

Killdeer, that is a beautiful possible's bag matched up with a very nice quiver I might add!

I have a 8 arrow Sagitarius in great condition. I spray painted it brown.
If it's in your way, move it.

Well, Gary makes custom knives and leather, but he is not a sponsor so I can't link you up on this board. He used to set up at Baltimore and ATAR every year, but I hear that he is mostly spending his time at muzzleloader shoots now.

This was a left-handed setup, but in the course of an afternoon he switched it over for right-handed me. Great guy, excellent work. Oh, I replaced the pewter Kokopelli button with a homemade one of lignum vitae.

Killdeer I like!!! Now the big question....how much? lol Seriously, looks to be the ultimate set up! looks as if the old bear quiver passes through an envelope "like" leather section, fasten to the strap. Am I right? Sure want to hear more please. Jon

Yes, Jon, the leather covers the crisscross wire section of the old quiver. Arrows are laid across the front and rear of this leather section.

How much? I forget. I bought a beautiful knife from him the same day, as it fit the sheath on the strap. Guess I was feeling pretty flush that year.

I have one from Gary Custom just like Killdeer. Only used a few times if interested in purchasing PM me. I always go back to a bow quiver.
