Cody, I'm not an expert but I have a lot of dollars experience in the last 15 months-some good -some bad.  Jaguar was not one of the good ones.  I bought my wife a Samack Sage and it has been a very good experience.  It is a shooting sucker.  I got it from 3rivers for $130 and it is worth every dime and then some.  You'll have to quiten it but I really like it and I have a custom bow too.  If you are just set on a Jag I know where you can get one cheep.

I've read a lot of horror stories about Jaguars. But I bought one. I've shot at least 1,000 arrows out of mine. It still works fine. I'd like a better bow too. But I have no regrets. I did have trouble learning to tune it cause it uses an elevated rest. So consider your knowledge level.

You should look into trying a used bow like an old Bear or Howatt, the advantage of a used bow is you can probably sell it later for the same price. Someone might even be selling one here in the classifieds.
