A good tradgang friend, whom I have never met but admire and respect, asked if I would attempt to repair a back quiver that he had owned for some time. I dabble in leather occasionally only because years ago, as a lefty, I never could find holsters and such in left hand too easy.
I told him to send it and it arrived this week. I happen to live near a leather supply wholesaler and retailer. I dropped by there today and searched their scrap boxes. I found the perfect piece for the project.
The quiver is a nice black leather RH; likely from the mid-late 60s. I was about three or four when it was made. Funny how good old leather stuff lasts.
