Aluminum sizes

I am shooting a 2216, and when I bare shaft tune it is a little weak. I can't go any shorter, and don't want to go to a 100 gr point. What is the next size, I was thinking a 2219. I checked easton websire but they say I should be shooting a 2018(way too weak) and since they don't have the charts of old, I was wondering if any of you might have an idea? Thanks Steadman

Try a Heavier Point, 125 or 145 Maybe.

What is your draw and pounds? 2216 is a pretty stout arrow!

A heaveier tip will weaken the dynamic spine, not make it stiffer.

As far as other stiffer shafts go...

2413 is just a tad stiffer than a 2216, then a 2315 is just a tad stiffer than a 2413.  Then 2219 is just a tad stiffer than a 2315.

Chortdraw.  Believe it or not, with a 125 gr tip, a 2216 30 inches long will bareshaft deadnuts perfect out to 30 yds away when shot out of my 50# @ 29 inch BW PSAX.  A lot of that is due to how far past center a BW sight window is cut.

Thanks for the input.I am shooting a longbow I made. This bow has givin me fits trying to find an arrow. It is crazy that I shoud be shooting a heavier spine. This bow is 62# @ 29.With a 125 gr tip. I draw a true 29 (use a clicker). Bare shaft shows just a tad stiff, I might try a 2219. Plus I like the weight of a 2219. I would love to try woods but don't want to mess with it. Thanks again

I've been sitting right on the fence between 2216 and 2219 for several years now. Anytime I can, I'll chose the 2219. Love the weight, the diameter and they are as tough as nails.

Of course if your bareshaft shows "a tad stiff"  with a 2219 you'll have more broadhead choices.
