I want to take my youngest out for deer next fall and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good tree stand that will sit 2.

I have a Big Dog 15' two man ladder stand that works very well for two people. My youngest son killed his very first deer from it and I killed a nice doe from it with a Beeler longbow. Nice stands and won't break the bank either. Only thing is, it's difficult to shoot a deer with a trad bow if you have to shoot to either side because the shooting rail is in the way. You can fold it out of the way in the front but not on the sides. Fortunately, my doe was directly in front of the stand when I killed her. I guess it could be modified somehow but I would be kinda afraid the integrity of the stand would be compromised.

Michael,
From the heading I was hoping you were inviting me to hunt with you!!
Any two man ladder stand should do you fine. For bow hunting I like the ones with the swinging gun rest because I just take them off & it is an open front that way. Good luck & hope you guys have fun.

Big Dog or Big Game both make nice two man stands. They are also nice if you wanna go and sit all day by yourself. I have three Big Dogs and two Big Games at two different properties and hunt them almost exclusively because of the room and the comfortability factors. Good Luck in your search.
