Looks like the Hatfield takedown recurve will get to pursue deer and elk in the same unit here in New Mexico this year. The Lord has truly blessed me again.

What unit did you draw Dave? Do you hunt near home in 34? I drew a second season (9/15-22) elk tag for unit 52, plus a deer tag to go with it.

I will be hunting 34 this year, I usually hunt 36. It is an ES tag, so I will likely be looking for a nice fat cow. The deer tag is an added bonus, as it is open in Jan. in the event I don't tag out in Sept.

Me and a few buddies (wheel shooters) will also be hunting deer in 34 this year.  Good luck to you.
