Stumpshooting in VT(w/ video)
«

Went out yesterday to stretch the muscles, get a little turkey scouting in and of course, do some stumpshooting.
Here's a video of my son.

Here's one of me. I mock Fred Eichler a little.

Schafer, the ol' man had to show ya how it was done...even after you made up those new spiffy arrows.
I know I know, you didn't want to show him up on camera right..

Nice videos. I'm going out later to do a little "roving" in lieu of stump shooting. Since I shoot thin walled 2212 aluminum arrows, I like to shoot at pine cones laying on the ground or large sycamore leaves. An anomaly on the side of a dirt bank is another good target for me.

I sure as heck do. I was a lucky kid growing up where I did and those fond memories can leave a powerful longing for the good-ol-days.
Greg....did you move?

Good to see you boys in action. I will hopefully be hunting turkey down in the woods we all hunted off the power lines on AEP this weekend.
