Anybody tried to train a dog to find them?

30 years ago I worked at a wilderness camp (alternative school) in the NC mountians.  Our site was a long abandoned apple and cherry orchard.  I could have made millions at $12/lb.

I picked about 4 pounds Saturday morning. They're popping up everywhere. Seen a good sized black bear too. Spring has been late coming but it's definately here...

I found 3 nice ones driving out of the work parking lot.

we have been getting straight rain for a week, I am going out after work with some boots on in the adjacent woodlot.  It should be full of them.

My wife and I found about a lb last night.

I found 4 mushrooms after work.

Izzy, wipe the PI on your arms for good luck  :scared:

Keep checking, they are here!

My wife found about 1/2 pound at a 3D shoot today. Finally one of my friends was able to witness her hunting prowess (and reap the benefits too).  I only wish I had taken a picture, I have never seen a cluster so large before.

Had a great time shooting today Ron, thanks for taking us along.

Was shooting my weekly animal league and thought I would take a peek between shots by a few of the nearby dead Elms and was able to find one little gray. Planning on going sometime this week and take a little closer look around.
