Today a friend brought by two bows that he was given when his Uncle passed. They were in fantastic shape. I was aprehenshive about shooting the Meigs. It was 56# @ 28". I am proud to say that I shot it well. I fell in love with the grip and it felt really good in the hand. This bow was easy to pull and shot a heavy arrow well. I am going to have to take a closer look at Tim Meigs bows.

If you hunt with your kids when they are young, you won't be hunting all over for them when they are teenagers.

I'm sorry I did not take any pics. The bow was an early Tim Meigs recurve, 56# @ 28" and 65" long. Smouth as silk. Again, I'm suprised I shot it as well as I did since I shoot a lower poundage.
